Open Question: When will my teeth straighten under my braces?

I have crowding on my bottom teeth, there is a gap between my front and some of my other top ones are crooked. My back teeth are pretty straight. According to my ortho its my "social six" that need the work. Will they straighten faster since my back ones are okay? I got my braces today and I suppose I'm anxious for results in this long process :)
