that means that your teeth shifted and are trying to go back to the way they were before you got braces. what to do it to keep wearing the retainers all the time and your teeth will go back to the way the were right when you got them off. it will hurt for a few days, but its worth a beautiful smile. take some tylenol if they hurt. dont worry :)

also, make sure you brush your teeth and retainers every night and wear them all the time.
after a few months, youll only have to wear the retainers at night.
