Open Question: What is the difference between a water flosser and an oral irrigator?

I heard that just flossing and brushing can't help anymore if you have gingivitis/bloody gums when you floss so it is helpful to purchase an oral irrigator. I tried searching the Target and Walmart websites for an oral irrigator and they don't really seem to have it but rather a water flosser shows up. Is this the same thing?Answer Question
