I'm 16 and I've had braces for 10 months, and elastic bands in for 5 months to help make my bite correct. However I was only supposed to wear them for a month but every 6 weeks when I go for check ups, they say that my jaw has moved too far because I have been wearing my elastics everyday like I should, so now I need to move it back. So I had them in for another 6 weeks and that had gone too far. This has happened again, so I asked them what if it goes too far again and they said just keep wearing them and we'll see what happens next time. But I don't want it to happen again, and a week ago my bite felt fine, but right now it feels to be moving out of place again! What should I do, should I keep wearing them?
