Hi everyone!
I got my braces off about a week ago and the other day I went and they gave me my retainers which are the clear ones that pop on. I know she told me I should NOT soak them in water and she gave me some solution that it's like a little tab, I haven't opened it yet because I had some questions and figured before I call the office I could ask for help here:

1. Is it okay like after I take them out before I put them back on to just run the water and CLEAN out the retainers? Not soaking but just putting it under the water for 2 seconds and that's it, or will that cause damage?

2. How often should I clean them?

I am going to call my orthodontist no matter what, but I have to wait 3 days because their office is only open certain days. Just figured since I can't sleep I could use the help, thanks so much!
