Home >All Categories > Health >Dental >Open Question Neil g Member since:July 06, 2008Total points:366 (Level 2)Hello, i had a filling from a few years back fall out recently, and i was getting really bad tootaches, so i went back to a different dentist 3 days ago and got another filling done. the problem is that i am in as much pain now as i was before i got the filling. It is so uncomfortable and wakes me up for hours every night. at the time the dentist told me it could take weeks for the pain to go WEEKS :O i will be dead by then from taking pain killers which i am currently going through about 8 a day with the last 2 weeks. How can it be so sore if it was never like this with the last filling, and is "weeks" a genuine answer to tell someone they will be in pain for. i also had an xray on the day of the filling and she said i had no abscess, but i am having my doubts. I cant afford root canal so that is out of the question, am i better off to just get it pulled out and get it over with???? i cant keep going on taking tablets like i have been and i really need sleep :((((it is my first molar on the bottom side if that matters57 minutes ago
