About 2 or 3 months ago I woke up one morning and as a started to eat my breakfast my jaw clicked slightly, then once I got to school it had stopped so I thought nothing of it. But then the next day, and the next day it kept happening in the morning. But then it got worse and started to click ALL the time. It has kept getting worse and now sometimes I cant open my mouth wider then about 2 fingers! I went to my dentist and he just said it was because of stress and I probably grind my teeth. Well he was wrong about the stress because I am a very layed-back person. My jaw clicking has got even worse now and it sometimes even hurts a little. What can fix this? I am going back to the dentist in about a week and he said if he thinks its worse he will refer me to the oral hospital. What will they do!? Will I have to have surgery to make it better? Im quite worried and im only 13!!
