im getting braces in a week r 2 and im scared 2 death im 9 and my teeth are crooked and they hurt soooo bad because they are crooked!Do they hurt like tonsoles being pull"ed out are worse?

It hurts some, but not enough to be scared of. You won't even need tylenol or anything - it's unpleasant, but bearable. As the braces move your teeth around it can make things sore and sometimes make eating uncomfortable. You might want softer foods.

Have you talked to the orthodontist? He should be able to explain the process to you. For instance, he told me not to eat raw carrots or corn chips because they could knock the brackets off and he'd have to put them on again (which ended up happening a couple times anyway).
