Open Question: Wisdom Teeth Removal?

Member since:September 30, 2009Total points:563 (Level 2)I am getting all four of my wisdom teeth out tomorrow (plus tissue on my back teeth for my braces) and I plan on being knocked out. Will I be completely knocked out if they use gas on me? I have heard that you'll be in a twilight sleep if they knock you out, so I just wasn't sure. Also, how long should I wait before I start swimming or running again? My surgeon said they're not too impacted to where I could go back to school the next day. I am really nervous and am wanting to not have an extensive amount of pain? Also, do the gums and area heal after a couple months or does it just take a couple weeks?
