can you see and notice the chip at all? Does it effect the way your teeth look? If the dentist says nothing should be done and you are not happy with how the tooth looks, I would go back and tell her. If your tooth looks ok I would trust her. It really depends on if you are happy with the chipped tooth or not? If you are not happy you will always be looking at it and it will bug you. If you do want to have it fixed for cosmetic reasons maybe a veneer would sort it out.

Decide if you are happy or not. Then go back and see her if need be. Hope that helps.
