About a year ago, my dentist told me that I would have to have my wisdom teeth removed. She said this could not be done in a dentist's office.

Right now, I have medical insurance, but not dental insurance. I want to know how to have this procedure done using my medical insurance, if that is possible.

Who do I see first? A dentist or a doctor for a recommendation. Can this apply to medical insurance, and not dental?
