Open Question: Can you sue an orthodontist?

Home >All Categories > Health >Dental >Open Question? ? Member since:May 26, 2011Total points:91 (Level 1)I have been seeing an orthodontist for almost 6 and a half years. The day my braces came off I was quick to point out that there was a space between two of my teeth. The orthodontist assured me that he would be able to close the space by making adjustments in my retainer. That was over 3 years ago. I have been given different retainers to wear and most commonly been told to wear them 24/7, which I have. The last device he gave to me that I wore for 7 months actually caused an additional 4 spaces. Today I was given the same retainer I was given 3 years ago where he is making the same adjustments. It's been more then 6 years, I paid over $6000.00, still have to wear plastic retainers 24/7, and now how 5 spaces in my teeth. I come home from appointments crying in fustration. Is there anything I can do?Answer Question
