Ok,so My dentist told me I need braces and I will probably have my first appointment soon. And since my dentist said that I needed braces,can my orthodontist tell me that I can't put on braces right now? Since I still have about 4 adult teeth (all canines) to grow in,and all my second molars need to grow in.

And another question,since I'm on medicaid they have to sent a letter to get it approved by the state or something,when I get the letter and they say it's ok about how long away should the appointment be?
For example: If I get the card of acceptance the 1st of June,when should my appointment with the orthodontist be?

Also I am 14 if this helps at all
