hi!! Iv had mine for over a month now and the first 3 weeks was HORRIBLE and even now, i still can't speak with them in! well kinda better than before though, i dont eat with them in only soft stuff, and my chin looks like it stuck out for a few weeks but then it got better trust me,

my gums hurt on the first week! , and whenever i took them off too eat i couldn't bite down, that's how much pain i was in..

BUT if the metal clips are hurting you then get >WAX< its used for braces ! you can get them from the pharmacy (think so) you just take abit off and roll it up into a ball and stick it on the mettal bit on were its hurting, but make sure you clean that bit so it isn't wet, or else it won't stick.
