Hmm, when it came time for me to do the wisdom teeth thing, the good news was there were only 3. The bad news is that they were all on their sides and impacting my other teeth. They had to go in and literally grind them out! So, I consider you you lucky so far.

I would think the main reason why you want them out, assuming everything else is going smooth for you, would be impacting and/or crowding of your other teeth. Our family background tends toward crooked, overlapping teeth anyhow, and when the orthodontic work was done years ago, removal of some teeth to make room was a big part of it.

So, bottomline, if they are causing your regular teeth to crowd, you will probably be better off without them. (standard disclaimers apply).
