Open Question: how painful and scary is the tooth extraction? :-(?
In my opinion, you should get yourself a male dentist. I felt better when the dentist was a female, but she had such a lame grip and she was yanking and grinding my teeth for 20 freaking minutes before it finally came out. @__@ Sometimes, her pliers would sometimes scrape against my teeth and I'd feel it reverberate throughout my entire mouth.
It WASN'T painful though. You don't have to be worried about the actual experience at all. It's afterwards that hurts the most, when the numbing begins to wear off.
I'd never visited the dentist before. I experienced all kinds of anxieties that you wouldn't even BELIEVE. What I did was accept that it was going to happen, that I should face my fear and get it over with. And then I looked forward. Just keep looking forward. In a week, your mouth will be perfect, your tooth won't burden you anymore, and you'll have survived a visit to the dentist. It's quite an enlightening feeling! 8D
