Open Question: Flesh grown in premolar dental cavity?

Home >All Categories > Health >Dental >Open QuestionI have had this premolar tooth with a silver filing for many years. In order to avoid aggravating the pain, I went to the dentist about 10 months ago. He started the root canal treatment on me and removed some of the filing in the center of the tooth. Because the pain did not go everytime he fiddled with my tooth, despite medication, he abandoned the treatment. He asked me to not come back till the pain goes away because he won't be able to go ahead with the treatment. I repeatedly asked him how is the pain supposed to go if he won't give me any medication for it. But he didn't give me any solutions. All these months I haven't used the left side of my mouth for chewing, though I do brush it 3 times daily. Now initially the space was hollow, but there's flesh grown there now. It hurts if I touch it. What should I do with this tooth?Answer Question
