Well .. you know the bands that go around the bracket?
Sometimes my orthodontist (instead of placing the bands around the four "spikes") places them on 3.
Is this an approach that people use a lot .. what changes occur when you use this method.

Is it normal to not place a wire in one bracket and in the rest?
