I'm a dental assistant, I'm not a doctor so I need a dentists help. Last night I stayed at a hotel and left my splint at home. My retromolar pad is swollen. Its painless, just irritating. It was swollen starting this afternoon, never had any other issues in this area. So my question is, could my clenching have caused this? Or could it be just general irritation?
