he got his first tooth at 3.5 months and his front teeth shortly after. he is now 16 months old and has all the molars and front and just got bottom and top canine teeth. noticed something behind his tooth two days ago. looked almost like food stuck behind his tooth. brushed his teeth and it would go away. its hard like bone (which is also what the doctor said after lookn at it) and he screamed in pain while i was brushing. the gumline of the tooh next to it even started to bleed. i felt terrible. he had a fever 4 days prior. spiking up to 102.7 one day and then leveling off around 99 or 100 the next few. this was def a reaction to this mass coming through the gum all at once.

has anyone else ever had something like this happen.?

hes so young. like i said before jsut turned 16 months. im concerned for him. if he does have a second set of teeth would they show up this soon?

is it possible that it could just be one extra tooth?

curious to hear of any answers of comments.

calling a pediatric dentist tomorrow morning. office was closed today.
