Whitening - Brush teeth all day? Manuel vs Automatic?
Looking to get my teeth white asap, and i'm off work so lots of free time.
1. Would brushing your teeth all day get it really white? Why not? Do you only get rid of the day strains by brushing? 4 minutes brushing > 3, 5>4...where does it stop. Whats the MOST i can brush to get white teeth?
2. To whiten my teeth would an automatic be better than a manual?
3. Does teeth bleaching mean those whitening strips or are they different? What is teeth bleaching called over the shelves.

Hey Daniel,
Yes brushing your teeth is good, but it will not whiten your teeth. Brushing your teeth all day is not a good idea, you can cause irritation and gum recession.
Tooth stains are not on the surface of your teeth (the part you clean by brushing). Tooth stains are deeper and are effectively removed by tooth bleaching. Yes, bleaching is the whitening strips, but the strips are usually weak and don't do much.
The best way to whiten is to buy an at home kit. Do some research online and find a good company, there are many. There are also lots of scams, so be careful and do a little homework before you buy.
You can't get these kits in the drugstore. The kit will contain a mouth tray and whitening gel. I recommend using carbimide peroxide gel, not hydrogen peroxide gel. It comes in a syringe. There is less pain and sensitivity for most people when using carbimide peroxide.
You can buy kits for $30-$50 online. The whitening gel will last a while and give you many whitenings. Keep the whitening gel in the fridge to help it last longer.
Brushing your teeth 3 times a day is a good amount, you don't need to do it any more.
