What Emily forgot to mention is that Enamel which teeth are made of is the hardest substance in the human body, and therefore not easy to deteriorate. That and she provided no Scientific source for her claim or a kind of mouthwash to use... Even if her statement was true you could always use fluoride in conjunction with Listerine. Mouthwash helps kill bacteria and fluoride helps strengthen teeth.

If your really concerned with alcohol in mouthwash -- there are other types of Listerine approved by the ADA that don't contain alcohol in them.
