My smile is very gummy, and my only option to fix this is jaw surgery, which is rather extreme.
As an alternative solution,
Would it be possible for me to extract all of my teeth, then trim down some of my top jaw so I won't have a gummy smile, and then to permanently insert a fake set of teeth?

This might be a rather silly idea but I would prefer serious responses please.
