Im just curious my ortho told me i have to get a expander in like cupple weeks...then wear it for 6 months..then braces...what do i need to know about the expander...pain more then the spacer bands i have in now?....and most importantly do they take the metal expander out before they put in braces?

So you can get them on both at once?...the expander is going around 4 teeth,even then still they can get both braces on top with the expander?
