Resolved Question: Side effects to Novocaine?

But when one of the nurse's gave me the shot I started freaking out about this side effect I had. The room started spinning and for around two minutes I couldn't control my eyes. That lasted for about five minutes. But for the other five minutes I had another side effect. For some reason my right eye kept seeing two of whatever I was looking at. My Mom was next to me when this happened and I could see two of her and it was just something I've never experienced. For me I'm not the type to be affected by drugs like this but I was wondering if this is a common side effect to this drug or if anyone has experienced this. I also had a bad cold that week if that makes it any different to my side effect to this drug.

It might have been a possible side effect, since the painkiller was practically numbing you down. There are some patients who become really groggy or even drool as the drug wears off. Did you ask the dentist after the fillings had been done?
