Open Question: question about MRI's?
No blood letting, peeing or otherwise.
The mri makes polar molecules flip back and forth and from that they can make pictures of you. The pictures are about 1/16th of an inch slices of what they are examining and they can manipulate those slices to make a big picture of the problem area, which in this case is your head.
I've had one done on my head about 18 months ago. It's loud, so bring your favorite music. It may or may not be enclosed. If you're claustrophobic, tell them you need a little sedation and they'll give you a mild tranquilizer. It doesn't hurt. And you'll be ok for this procedure.
