Open Question: Is it normal for my mouth to be sore even after an abscess has drained?

The abscess drained on its own Wednesday morning, however it is still aching. The swelling is mostly gone, but I still have soreness and I'm wondering if this is normal. Does anyone have experience with this?Answer Question
