Open Question: Are my teeth shifting or am I just paranoid?

I wore my regular hawley/wire retainers 24/7 for about 2 months and then I gradually wore them less and less hours. The longest I have not worn them was about 3 days, but that wasn't till several months after wearing them for many hours. My teeth are still straight but I feel like they aren't as straight as before. My retainers still fit. I've dropped them several times on the sink, did they shift? Or did my teeth get crooked and reshape my retainers when I popped them back in after 3 days? Or am I just being paranoidAnswer Question
