I keep getting enlarged tastebuds (one at a time, every couple of weeks or so). They look like virtually nothing, just a tastebud that is slightly enlarged - yet it is SO painful when it happens! Unbelievably painful. To the touch it just feels like a little swollen bump (they are usually towards the front of my tongue) and they go away within a few days. I googled this and read that it's completely normal for this to happen every now and then, but it's happening SO much lately that it doesn't seem normal. Is there anything that could be causing this to happen so much and is there anything that will reduce the pain when it does? :(
