It's not as bad as it sounds, but it does make your teeth a little more sore than normal after you get them tightened. Just take some Ibuprofen or something and you won't even know it's there. You stop feeling it after a couple days. But make sure you brush there a little more because food likes to get stuck in there if you're not careful.
